Ways to Contribute
Main Track ‘Flipped-Format’ Sessions
Explore important questions together
Our signature format. You speak for 20 minutes, then engage the audience for 40 minutes. Participants engage with materials before the summit, allowing session time to focus on discussion, exploration and collective learning. Ideal for:
Strategic challenges
Emerging trends
Complex questions
Future-focused discussions
Best suited for contributors who want to lead and inspire a conversation rather than deliver a traditional presentation.
Fionn Sessions
Small-group discussions led by experienced practitioners and legends in our field. These sessions focus on practical wisdom, lived experience and the transfer of knowledge that is often difficult to capture in documents or presentations. Ideal for:
Leadership journeys
Lessons learned
Real-world challenges
Professional experience
Best suited for contributors who enjoy dialogue and sharing insights through conversation.
Share experience through organic conversation
Knowledge Showcase (Poster Sessions)
Share your work
Poster-style sessions designed for research, case studies, innovations, pilot projects and emerging practice. The Knowledge Showcase creates opportunities for informal discussion and one-to-one engagement throughout the event. Ideal for:
Research projects
Organisational case studies
New methods and approaches
Innovation and experimentation
Best suited for contributors who want to share their work and engage in deeper conversations with interested participants.
Spark Content (Lightning Talks)
Introduce fresh ideas and provocations
Short, high-energy presentations designed to introduce fresh ideas and stimulate further discussion. Based on the Japanese ‘pecha kucha’ format of 20 slides for 20 seconds each, deliver your topic succinctly in around 6 minutes and inspire participants’ thinking. Ideal for:
Provocative ideas
Emerging trends
Innovative approaches
Future thinking
Best suited for contributors with one powerful idea they want people talking about afterwards.
Depending on programming and submissions, this will either be delivered in one session or as pre-event content.

Why Apply?
-
Help influence how practitioners, researchers, leaders and organisations think about knowledge, AI and the future of our field. Your contribution will become part of a wider conversation exploring how knowledge moves, connects and creates value in an increasingly AI-enabled world.
-
Your expertise is only the starting point. At KSD, the most valuable insights emerge when ideas are challenged, expanded and enriched through discussion with peers. Your story, combined with the experiences of others, creates the "aha" moments that move our profession forward.
-
Unlike traditional conferences, KSD is designed around participation and conversation. Contributors gain direct access to diverse perspectives, real-world challenges and fresh thinking from an engaged community of practitioners. You may arrive as a contributor, but you'll leave having learned as much as you've shared.
-
Share your ideas with knowledge professionals, researchers, leaders and innovators who are actively shaping practice across sectors and countries. Our audience doesn't simply listen. They participate, question, challenge and contribute.
-
Our signature Flipped Session format moves beyond traditional presentations. Contributors introduce ideas and then engage participants in meaningful discussion and collective exploration. It's an opportunity to test assumptions, refine thinking and develop new insights alongside your peers.
-
Some of the most valuable conference conversations happen after the session ends. KSD creates opportunities to connect with peers, future collaborators, mentors, researchers and practitioners from across the global knowledge community. The relationships you build can continue long after the summit concludes.
-
Knowledge Summit Dublin is designed as a collective learning experience. Every contribution helps generate new insights, challenge conventional thinking and advance understanding across our community. You're not simply delivering content. You're helping create it.
-
Experienced practitioners can share hard-earned wisdom through Fionn Sessions, panels and discussion-led formats. Emerging voices can bring new perspectives, challenge assumptions and introduce fresh ideas. KSD values learning in every direction.
-
Join a diverse and respected lineup of practitioners, researchers, leaders and innovators. Contributing at KSD provides an opportunity to showcase your work, share your expertise and build recognition within the international knowledge community.
-
Selected contributors receive a complimentary pass to the full summit, providing access to all sessions, networking opportunities and summit activities.
-
Contributors can share a 30% discount code with up to three colleagues or contacts. Learning is more powerful when it continues back in the workplace and professional community.
-
Join us at the historic Trinity College Dublin, where centuries of scholarship meet contemporary thinking about the future of knowledge. Continue conversations beyond the conference halls in one of Europe's most vibrant and welcoming cities.
